This week was a little quieter on site. The plasterers continued working, preparing the corners and edging.
The "landscapers" also poured the concrete for the front and back verandahs on Friday, and we passed on our choice of paver, Classicstone Portland (light grey - probably named after Portland Cement, ie the natural colour of cement), for its final surfacing. We chose Portland because it is close to the colour of our roof.
Matt, our builder, also had our kitchen window removed during the week for repairs. The window frame had split, so it was removed for part of the frame to be replaced and should be back this coming week.
The floorboards are stacked in the house, waiting to be laid.
